Your mission

As an HR Business Partner, you’ll be part of the People Team, where you’ll work on a variety of operational, strategic and project-based tasks. Your employee life cycle expertise will be put to use in a variety of situations – in consultations with managers, as a trusted go-to person for your colleagues, and within the People Team. You’ll be an important contact person who is always ready to help, advise and support further development of the People Team and Ableton as a company.

Proactive, passionate, diligent, with a humorous outlook and a fresh point of view, you’ll be an asset to our team who is able to keep across projects, even in stressful situations. We’re looking for someone who is able to communicate transparently and collaborate within the team as well as with our stakeholders. Your role

You have experience:

  • Consulting employees and team managers on aspects of the entire employee lifecycle, e.g. as HR Business Partner
  • Working in an international company with a focus on consulting employees in the German work environment
  • In applying German labor law, e.g. in the area of onboarding and offboarding, contractual questions and in advising foreign colleagues
  • With different staffing options and employment types
  • In collaborative conception and implementation of projects



  • Are passionate about the field of HR
  • Work independently, accurately and in a structured manner
  • Are a good listener, you can understand other people’s perspectives and respond accordingly to the individual’s needs
  • Speak fluent German and English
  • Have a technical affinity or are interested in learning new and existing tools (MS Office, Google Drive, Personio, Confluence, Trello)
